Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst – Supply Chain to support procurement and logistics operations through data-driven insights. The successful candidate will analyze procurement, purchasing, inventory, and logistics data; track purchase orders; monitor vendor performance; identify operational trends and inefficiencies; and convert complex data into actionable recommendations. The role will involve preparing analytical reports, monitoring key supply chain metrics, supporting procurement and logistics teams, identifying data quality issues, and helping improve operational efficiency through effective data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze procurement, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain data.
Track purchase orders and monitor order status, delivery timelines, and fulfillment.
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance using relevant KPIs.
Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for stakeholders.
Identify trends, inefficiencies, delays, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies across supply chain records.
Develop actionable insights to support procurement and logistics decision-making.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams.
Maintain and improve supply chain reporting processes.
Support automation and optimization of recurring reports and analytical workflows.
Preferred Profile
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience in data analysis, preferably within procurement, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI is preferred.
Knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets will be an advantage.
Understanding of purchase orders, vendor management, inventory, logistics, and supply chain KPIs is desirable.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
