Job Description
This role focuses on the execution of RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) and control testing as part of the bank's Operational Risk Management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control Testing Execution: Execute control testing activities using predefined scripts to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
- RCSA Support: Support the planning and delivery of the annual RCSA programme, partnering with business/control owners to document processes, risks, and controls.
- Issue Management: Document testing results, identify control weaknesses or gaps, support root cause analysis, and track remediation actions through to closure.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise testing reports and management information (MI) that highlight key findings, control themes, and emerging risks.
- Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements; collaborate with risk, audit, and business teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of banking experience, preferably with at least 1 year in a branch banking, centralized operations, or a relevant risk/audit role.
Core Competencies:
- Familiarity with RCSA methodology and control testing best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred: Experience with GRC tools (e.g., Archer, MetricStream) and an understanding of SBP regulations is advantageous.
