Senior Officer – Fraud Investigation Affairs

MCB Islamic Bank is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Senior Officer – Fraud Investigation Affairs in Lahore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating fraud complaints, reviewing reported cases, gathering and validating relevant information, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, establishing facts, and reaching well-supported conclusions within defined timelines.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough fraud investigations, maintaining accurate investigation records and databases, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, ethical standards, and applicable banking laws and regulations. The role will also involve monitoring emerging fraud trends, staying updated on industry practices, recommending anti-fraud measures, and contributing to initiatives aimed at preventing and minimizing actual or potential fraud.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Risk Management or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Fraud Risk Management/Fraud Investigation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to critically assess situations and effectively manage disputes and conflicts.
• Proactive approach toward identifying risks and recommending process improvements.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and collaborative environment.
• Sound knowledge of relevant banking laws, regulations, fraud trends, and industry practices.
